Prayer; A Path to Healing

I am sharing a personal healing journey here. In 2023, I started experiencing symptoms of urinary tract infections (UTI). I knew I had e-coli in my urethra after visiting a doctor of natural medicine. The e-coli had probably been hiding out there until it was activated by life stress or other toxins that I was exposed to. I had three urinary tract infections in 2023 before the month of July. Antibiotics were prescribed and after I finished the course of treatments, the symptoms and infections would show up again. In July, the pathogen reared its ugly head again and I was admitted to the hospital after several visits to urgent care. I was in the hospital on an antibiotic IV drip for 3 days and nights. This healed the urinary tract infection, for a while. Two months after being discharged from the hospital, another infection began. Again, I was given antibiotics that seemed to quiet the current infection only to end up with another infection within a month or two after finishing the course of treatment. I began to wonder if the e-coli was becoming resistant to the multiple courses of antibiotics.

Then the presence of Mother Mary stepped into my life. My husband grew up in the Catholic Church and prayed daily to Mother Mary at church and at home. One night, shortly after another infection, Mother Mary came to him in a dream. She told my husband in the dream that she could help heal my infections. I was excited to hear this dream and felt very blessed that Mother Mary would come to him. Then another synchronicity happened regarding Mother Mary. My son’s girlfriend came over one night that same week that my husband had the dream, and I asked her how her parents were. She proceeded to tell me that her parents just received the statue of Mother Mary in their house. Her family’s church has a rotation schedule for the statue to be held at members homes throughout the year. Our family ended up going to see the statue of Mother Mary that week and I did my very first rosary.

My husband and I started doing the rosary on a weekly basis with the intention of healing. It’s nice to have another connection with my husband through the rosary. We say our prayers out loud asking for the highest good for our family and our world.

My infections have not returned since we started praying the rosary. I have faith, and I believe in the unseen helping presence of Mother Mary.
