Sending Love to the World

We are experiencing so much change and chaos in our beautiful world right now. The time we live in is like no other time on planet Earth. We have to decide how we will interpret and act towards the events that are currently happening to make any rational sense of it, as it can make one’s head spin trying to take in all the information and process it a daily basis.

May I suggest a few ways to keep ourselves grounded this year so we can feel peace and love in the midst of war and post pandemic consciousness.

If you are looking for ways to help people in the Ukraine, send love and peace through your thoughts and prayers and money to reputable organizations if you can. Ask divine angelic forces to fight against evil and darkness. You can also give extra special loving attention to the people around you. Treating the people in your life to more love and attention helps to spread those same feelings and that makes the world feel beautiful. Making positive connections with other people in our lives creates a healing vibration within us that we radiate outside ourselves into the world.

Acknowledge your feelings by honoring how you feel. Moving through your feelings is key to emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. Practice moving through your feelings, so when a stressful or difficult feeling comes up, let it.  Actually, focus on FEELING itself and let it run its course without wanting it to be any different. Drop the judgement and just see it as a feeling. If you need to, set a time and just focus on your feeling for three minutes. Say to yourself, “I feel angry/sad/hurt.” As you do this, you’ll notice the intensity actually decreases. It then becomes easier to let it go.

Mindfulness is another keyway to let go of difficult thoughts. Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your complete attention to the present moment. When you’re mindful, you are simply observing the ongoing stream of internal and external stimuli as they come and go and without judgment. This may seem so basic, but it’s actually a very powerful process. Spend ten minutes simply sitting in the silence. Allow your thoughts to come and go. When you feel one becoming more charged or you’re having trouble letting it go, visualize it moving out of your body. “See” it floating into the sky and watch it disappear. Or imagine you’re breathing it out.
